The youngster will remain at Anfield and challenge a resurgent Daniel Sturridge for a spot in the side.
Nico Pareja leaves Sevilla
Sevilla have announced that former captain Nico Pareja will be released from the club this summer, making him a free agent. The Argentine spent five years in Seville, but was plagued by injuries for most of his tenure.
Zinedine Zidane to be patient for Manchester United hotseat
The Daily Mail has reported that former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is waiting in the wings for his chance to take over the reins at Manchester United, if current manager Jose Mourinho is to be given the sack. The Portuguese’s misery was compounded when the Red Devils followed up a disastrous pre-season with a loss away to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Real Madrid are reportedly in internal talks over triggering Celta Vigo star Iago Aspas’ £36m release clause. The European champions are desperate to bring goals to their side following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus and have identified the former Liverpool man as a possible target.
Super Mario to stay at Nice
Mario Balotelli will stay at OGC Nice and see out the rest of his contract at the very least. The controversial striker admitted that he had considered leaving the club at the start of the window, after scoring 43 goals in 66 appearances for the French outfit.
However, the Italian has since changed his mind and said that he feels comfortable with his teammates and the management.
Real Madrid look to hijack Barcelona's attempts to sign PSG star
Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to go head-to-head to sign PSG’s Adrien Raboit. The French midfielder would slot seamlessly into either of the Spanish giants’ sides and is yet to be offered a new contract at the Parc de Princes.
