Hailing from Mizoram, Lalromawia made his professional debut for Chanmari West in the 2017-18 edition of the Mizoram Premier League (MPL). He was subsequently called up to the state team for the Santhosh Trophy, where he scored four times. Ahead of the 2018-19 season, the 23-year-old signed with Chhinga Veng, who handed him his debut in the Second Division League.
Lalromawia played nine matches in the Second Division League, scoring thrice during this period. Later that year, Gokulam Kerala came calling and the midfielder joined them. He made 22 appearances for them, also registering a goal and an assist for them. Nine of those 22 appearances came in the 2020-21 I-League season, when the Malabarians lifted the title for the first time in their history. He also scored a goal in the campaign, in a 4-0 win over Indian Arrows on February 19 this year.
