ISL 2025-26: Debutants Inter Kashi rope in Seiminlen Doungel, Nishu Kumar & Jayesh Rane ahead of season

Seiminlen Doungel

Seiminlen Doungel is one of the most experienced Indian attackers in the ISL, with the experience of playing more than 100 games in the league. The Manipur-born winger has represented several top clubs, including Northeast United FC, Bengaluru FC, Delhi Dynamos, FC Goa, Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC. The two-time ISL Shield winner now adds his experience to the newly promoted Inter Kashi team.

Known for his pace and versatility, Len is also among the few Indian players to have scored a hat-trick in the ISL, underlining his attacking quality at the highest level.

Nishu Kumar

Nishu Kumar arrives at Inter Kashi with solid top-flight experience and a reputation as a dependable defender. The full-back made his name at Bengaluru FC, where he was part of the club’s ISL title-winning squad before going on to represent Kerala Blasters FC and East Bengal FC.

Comfortable on either side of the defence, Nishu has featured in over 80 ISL matches and brings both reliability and adaptability as Inter Kashi prepare for their debut season.

Jayesh Rane

Jayesh Rane brings a wealth of ISL experience to Inter Kashi, having been part of title-winning squads with Chennaiyin FC, ATK and Mumbai City FC. A versatile midfielder known for his work rate and game intelligence, Rane has featured in the league since its early years and adds a lot of experience to this young team.

His move to Inter Kashi also marks a reunion with head coach Antonio Lopez Habas, under whom he previously played at ATK, a familiarity that could help him settle quickly and play a key role in the team’s midfield.
