AFC Champions League Two Points Table: Updated Standings after FC Goa's 4-0 defeat against Al Nassr

Al-Nassr battered FC Goa in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Two with a dominant performance at their home. The Gaurs tried to hold the fort in the first half but ultimately succumbed to the pressure, conceding four goals.
The Saudi Arabian Giants could only score one goal in the first half as the Gaurs kept their shape intact. However, the calibre present in the Al-Nassr lineup found its way to the back of the net. The Gaurs failed to carry the same resilience in the second half and stumbled.

With this cruising victory, Al-Nassr have strengthened their position in the group. After the fourth round of fixtures, Al-Nassr have 12 points in their bag with a flawless record. The undefeated Saudi Arabian giants have a six-point lead over Iraq’s Al-Zawraa, the team in second position in Group D.
Al-Zawraa have an improved goal difference, which has helped them hold on to the second position. Tajikistan’s Istiklol also have six points against their name, but a negative goal difference of three has pushed them down to third position.
The only Indian club relevant in the competition, FC Goa, have again failed to pick up any points from the game. With no victories to boast, the Gaurs have a poor record. A straight fourth defeat keeps them at the bottom of the group, knocking them out of the competition.

After securing their place in the AIFF Super Cup knockouts, FC Goa would focus on their next AFC Champions League Two fixture. The Gaurs will try to collect their first points when they take on Al-Zawraa in Iraq on November 26.
Manolo Marquez will have some time to go back to the drawing board and mastermind a plan to lead Goa to their first Asian triumph this season. With knockout rounds of the Super Cup pushed to December, the Gaurs can focus on their nextAFC Champions League Two fixture.
