Indian Football Calendar for October 2025; AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, Super Cup & more
Football is finally back after months of chaos.
The Indian Football fans will finally witness footballing action as we enter the month of October. In the last few months, the headlines have been dominated by off-the-pitch controversies and speculations. But the focus will be back on the pitch as Indian Football enters a critical month.
Various teams, including senior teams, age-group teams, and clubs, will participate in fixtures that will determine their immediate future. The most important will be the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers, as the Blue Tigers attempt to bring their campaign back on track.
Indian senior men’s national team
India will be facing Singapore in their next two AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers on October 9 and 14. The Blue Tigers will travel first to Singapore to play the away fixture on October 9, which will be followed by a home fixture on October 14.

AFC Champions League 2
FC Goa and Mohun Bagan are in the middle of a crucial AFC Champions League 2 campaign. After forfeiting the game against Sepahan, Mohun Bagan have ‘withdrawn’ from AFC Champions League Two, but FC Goa will continue to represent India with aplomb.

Indian senior women’s national team
The senior national women’s team have started their preparations for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup which will be held in 2026. Crispin Chhetri’s team will play a friendly on October 26 against Nepal, giving them important minutes to bolster their preparations.

India U17 women’s team
Taking inspiration from the Indian U20 women’s team, the U17 women’s team will also be desperate to qualify for the Asian U17 Women’s Asian Cup. India will face Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the qualifiers. The first qualifying fixture for India will be against Kyrgyzstan on October 13, followed by the game against Uzbekistan on October 17.

Super Cup
The Super Cup is the most anticipated club tournament in the country currently. The Premier Cup competition will end the wait of Indian football fans to watch their clubs back in action. The Super Cup will start on October 25, with East Bengal and Real Kashmir clashing in the opening fixture.
