The ISL side atop of this list has a 44-goal difference with the team in second spot.
The Indian Super League (ISL) has recently completed its 10th edition, with Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC battling out for the ISL trophy in grand fashion.
During their 3-1 triumph against Mohun Bagan in the final, Mumbai City FC achieved a goal-scoring landmark, that only a solitary team had so far achieved in the league. Jorge Pereyra Diaz’s goal early into the second half made Mumbai only the second team to score 300 goals in the ISL.
Want to know where the other teams rank in the list?
We got you covered. Here’s the list of the top five ISL clubs with most goals in the league.
5. Bengaluru FC – 208 goals
Despite being late entrants into the league, Bengaluru FC joined the ISL party from their very first season, reaching the ISL finals in their inaugural campaign, and clinching the title next year.
The West Block Blues have been an indomitable force in the league, and with prolific goal-scorers playing for its badge, the club has grown quite a goal-scoring status of its own.
Sunil Chhetri, Miku, Udanata SIngh top the list of stars that have added up this impressive tally for the Blues.
4. Kerala Blasters – 239 goals
Three ISL final defeats in 10 years, and constant disappointment for a long awaited trophy, are something that have started to rile up the Yellow army.
Despite these downsides, Kerala Blasters have goals aplenty to celebrate and cherish, and make up the good moments that these fans can always experience.
Since the inaugural season, Kerala Blasters have scored 239 goals, averaging 24 goals every season.
The star studded list of Diamantakos, Ogbeche, Adrian Luna and Ian Hume, are among the all time top goal-scorers.
3. Chennaiyin FC – 262 goals
Two time ISL Champions Chennaiyin FC take up the third position in the list, with 262 goals.
It’s no surprise that the Marina Machans make it to the top three of the list. With stars like Elano and Stiven Mendoza gracing the Southern Coast in the inaugural seasons, and stalwarts like Nerijus Valskis and Rafael Crivellaro carrying the legacy, Chennaiyin’s identity and prestige have always been safeguarded by the players.
Jeje Lalpekhlua tops the all time highest goal-scorers list for Chennayin FC, giving a strong statement of the invariable contribution of Indian players.
2, Mumbai City FC – 302 goals
Having become the most decorated club in the ISL – in terms of ISL trophies and shields won – Mumbai City FC have risen to a new status in the ISL.
Whilst doing all of that, they have also completed a sidequest of scoring 300 goals in the league, which by their standards is no surprise.
A team that has seen the likes of Diego Forlan, Lallianzuala Chhangte and Jorge Pereyra Diaz execute the attacking duties, is bound to enjoy such incredible success.
Three Indian players – Lallianzaula Chhnagte, Bipin Singh and Vikram Partap Singh are in the list of the all time top-scorers of the club, showcasing the belief and trust that Mumbai City FC have on Indian players.
1 . FC Goa – 346 goals
Goa and Goals – the two words have become somewhat of a synonym over the years, due to the incredible goal-scoring might that the team in orange possesses. For the past 10 seasons, FC Goa have managed to attract some of the most prolific goal-scoring talents in the league, which vividly explains the astounding tally they have reached.
Averaging about 35 goals every season, FC Goa are a terror in front of goal. The Gaurs have the record for the biggest win in the ISL, most goals in an ISL season and biggest goal difference in a league season, among many others.
Leading their goal-scoring charts, is ISL legend Ferran Corominas, who is accompanied by Noah Sadaoui, Hugo Boumous and Brandon Fenandes.
