The Durand Cup semi-final clash will be on 19th August and 20th August, with the first semi-final between East Bengal FC and Sporting Club Delhi scheduled to kick off at 19:00 IST at the VYBK, Kolkata, and then the game between Mohun Bagan and NorthEast United FC will be scheduled for 19:00 IST on 20th August, 2026, at the JLN Stadium, Shillong.
The Semi-Final battle awaits

In the first Durand Cup semi-final clash, East Bengal FC will face SC Delhi, a known Indian Super League (ISL) side, after the Red & Gold thrashed Indian Army FT in their quarter-final match by 1-0 as PV Vishnu’s 38th-minute goal sealed the deal for Antonio Habas’s squad as they went through to the semis.
And on the other hand, SC Delhi, who played a spontaneous football with pure domination by topping their group, edged past FC Raengdai with a 5-1 scoreline as Joseph Sunny scored a brace for the ISL’s capital side and now the Delhi based club is set to take on against East Bengal FC on 19th August, 2026 from 19:00 IST at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata.
Mohun Bagan SG edged past Jamshedpur FC on penalties with a scoreline of 9 (1) – 8 (1) at home after the game was drawn between them in the 90 minutes, where Devendra scored for the Red Miners as Sahal Abdul Samad equalised for Mohun Bagan and secured their berth for the Durand Cup semi-finals. A great game for the football fans as both sides tried their every possible of things to qualify for the next stage, as the home side will now play away from home at Shillong on 20th August, 2026.
The Mariners will now face NorthEast United FC in the semi-final, which will be played on August 20 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Shillong, as the Highlanders beat Shillong Lajong FC 5-2, relying on Alaaeddine Ajaraie’s hat trick and also Ethyan & Jithin MS scored the remaining two goals for their side to outclass the IFL side. For Shillong Lajong FC, Figo Syndai and Jota were the players who gave their names to the scorecard, but in front of an attacking powerhouse like NorthEast United FC, they didn’t show their class.
