FC Goa vs SC Delhi Player Ratings: Alex Vallejo shines, Udanta Singh disappoint in ISL 2026-27 clash

Phoenix dropped points from winning position for third consecutive time in this season.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa hosted the 2026-27 Indian Super League (ISL) fixture where FC Goa locked horns with SC Delhi in what was a thrilling contest between these sides.

The Gaurs headed into this game after getting knocked out of the AFC Challenge League. Gouramangi’s side played out a 1-1 draw against Chennaiyin in the opening game. SC Delhi, on other hand lost their first two games despite leading against both Bengaluru FC and Mohun Bagan SG.

After a goalless draw, Udanta Singh’s mistake saw SC Delhi punishing them badly after Peña scored in the 51st minute. The Gaurs kept pushing for the equalizer, which payed off when Vallejo scored in the 95th minute of the game, salvaging a point for the home team as the game ended 1-1.

In this article, let us take a closer look at the player ratings for FC Goa vs SC Delhi.

FC Goa Player Ratings

Catch Every Update, Anytime, Anywhere

Bob Jackson – 6.5/10

A decent game for Raj who got his second start of the season. It was never easy facing strikers like Rodriguinho and Juan Peña. Even the goal FC Goa conceded, there was hardly much where Bob could have done. He stretched his arms fully but Peña’s shot didn’t got deflected and SC Delhi broke the deadlock.

Udanta Singh – 5.5/10

A terrible outing for Udanta, whose mistake costed Goa the clean sheet. He gave a wrong and miscalculated back pass to Zalaya and the Delhi strikers didn’t make any mistake to score and find the back of the net.

Sandesh Jhinghan – 7/10

Having someone like Jhinghan in the defence adds a massive psychological boost for any team. He was top class tonight and kept the SC Delhi strikers quiet for a good time.

Alex Zalaya – 7.5/10

A solid defensive performance from the Spaniard tonight. SC Delhi had the most shots and they created more chances than the Gaurs tonight and Zalaya was strong and resilient enough in the defence and had the most touches in the match tonight.

Ronney Willson – 7/10

Wilson was up against Peña in the flanks. He had seven defensive contributions tonight and he created a few chances upfront from the left wing to set up Malsawmsanga.

Alex Vallejo – 9/10

Alexander Vallejo scored FC Goa’s equalizer in the 95th minute of the game.

Goa lost all hopes tonight and when the match seemed over, the Spanish midfielder, who anchored the team so well tonight in the game went on to score the equalizer in the dying seconds of the game to steal a point from Tchórz’s side.

Tomba Singh – 8/10

Tomba was the heartbeat of Goa’s midfield tonight, who dominated the game in the centre of the park against SC Delhi midfielders like Hnamte and Azhar. Tomba also controlled the possession well and kept the ball moving when Delhi tried to slow down the clock.

Malsawmsanga KC – 6.5/10

Why wasn't Ashoutosh Mehta allowed to enter the pitch during FC Goa vs SC Delhi? | ISL 2026-27
Malsawmsanga score a goal for FC Goa, which was later ruled offside.

A decent outing for Malsawmsanga KC, who could have done better to make accelerated runs upfront given how Wilson was brilliant in the wings and he was subbed off after the first half.

Francisco Feuillassier – 7.5/10

The Argentine was top class tonight. He took that free kick in the final few seconds of the game which reached Vallejo, who went on to score the equalizer and Goa stole a point.

Muhammed Nemil Valiyattil – 6.5/10

Nemil was agile, took the most shots and had the most joint dribbles in the game. He was a constant menace from the left flanks and was subbed off in the 76th minute of the game.

Chiki – 6/10

Chiki had a disappointing game tonight. He scored in the last four games for Goa and set the expectations quite high. He missed too many easy chances but couldn’t convert them into goals.

Substitutes:

Isak Vanlalruatfela – 7/10

He was subbed on in the 46th minute to make way for Malsawmsanga KC. He played for over 45 minutes and his arrival brought a renewed sense of purpose and rejuvenated the team.

Sitroy Carvalho – 6/10

Sitroy was brought in the last quarter of the game and had a decent game tonight.

Akash Singh – 6/10

He was subbed on late into the match & was unable to provide any outstanding utility to FC Goa.

Haodamlian Vaiphei – 6/10

Apart from a couple of dribbles & cross, he had a silent day on the pitch against SC Delhi.

SC Delhi Ratings

Nora Fernandes – 7.5/10

Delhi’s most important player for 90 minutes. He dealt with Goa’s volume of shots and crosses, and his handling kept second-phase chances from turning into rebounds. He had no realistic chance with Vallejo’s set-piece, which came with his wall short-handed.

Duvan Viáfara – 7.5/10

The organiser of the low block. He held the line’s depth well, attacked crosses decisively and cleared the danger zone repeatedly. His positioning in the closing minutes, when the shape was disrupted, is worth reviewing.

Clarence Fernandes – 7/10

A solid partner who stayed disciplined as Goa pushed numbers into the box. He did the unglamorous work of blocking and clearing until his 88′ withdrawal, which broke up the centre-back pairing just before the decisive free-kick.

Manoj MD – 6/10

Competent but largely reactive on the left. He was replaced at half-time, which suggests Delhi wanted more energy on that flank against Goa’s overloads.

Gogou – 6.5/10

Worked hard in a back-five-style shape, tracking runners and stepping out to engage wide. He rarely offered an outlet in transition, which is understandable given how deep Delhi sat.

Nduka Junior – 6/10

He screened the back line and snuffed out second balls, but a high foul count and a booking limited his aggression. A yellow card for a deep midfielder against a side pressing for an equalizer is a risk Delhi could not afford.

Lalrinliana Hnamte – 5.5/10

Booked for a collision with the goalkeeper, an avoidable card in a match that rewarded composure. He covered ground and contributed to the block’s compactness, but the discipline lapse and Delhi’s wider foul problem count against him.

Mohammed Azhar – 6.5/10

Tidy and disciplined in the middle. He kept passing lanes closed and stayed compact, and he deserves credit for the ugly defensive work that kept Delhi’s shape intact.

Rodriguinho – 6/10

Rodriguinho was scolded by Tomasz Tchórz after FC Goa equalized on a 10 men SC Delhi.

A split verdict. His interception and the setup for Peña were the match-defining moment, a perfect read of Udanta’s pass and a clean release. But the cramps, the slow walk off and the lost seconds contributed directly to the substitution chaos before the equalizer. Brilliant for one moment, costly in another.

Mohammed Aimen – 5.5/10

Ran hard and tracked back, but offered little as a counter-attacking threat. He was replaced on the hour as Delhi looked to refresh their transition options.

Juan Peña – 7/10

Juan Peña score to give SC Delhi a lead against FC Goa.

The Colombian was isolated for much of the match, as expected in a low block. He finished the one clear opening he was given, calmly in a 1v1, and that goal earned Delhi their first point of the season. The goal scorer was later withdrawn at 66th minute .

Substitutes

Sourav – 6.5/10

Stepped into a difficult second-half assignment as Goa intensified their pressure. He helped hold the left side together through the long defensive spell.

Carlos Fortes – 5.5/10

Brought on to hold the ball and relieve pressure, with limited joy against a Goa side camped in Delhi’s half. A booking late in the match, while still being on the bench, added to the discipline problems.

Augustine Lalrochana – 6/10

Gave the front line fresh legs and chased channels to ease pressure. He had few chances to threaten on the counter.

Sanatomba Singh – 5.5/10

Thrown into the final stages and the set-piece, with little time to settle. His introduction coincided with the decisive restart, so the rating reflects circumstance as much as individual error.
