Bengaluru FC will face Carles Cuadrat’s Red and Gold Brigade at home in the season opener.

Bengaluru FC are set to lock horns with East Bengal in the season opener of the 2024-25 Indian Super League (ISL) season at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on September 14, 2024. With high goals in mind for this season, the Blues will build on the strong core of the team and forget about all the disappointments of the last season.

This time, Gerard Zaragoza will aim toward building momentum from the start of the season, and the club will look for the key to consistency from the very start.

The Blues will begin their campaign at home against long-time adversaries East Bengal FC, followed by a match against Hyderabad FC just four days later. The team has to be at its best in their opening game against the Torchbearers, as Carles Cuadrat is no stranger to the Kanteerava.

Carles Cuadrat will surely be at the helm of affairs for East Bengal, to revive their fortune in ISL after a few inconsistent seasons. More importantly, Cuadrat’s tactical knowledge about the Bengaluru camp gives East Bengal a tactical edge.

His deep understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of players like Sunil Chhetri, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, and Suresh Singh could prove vital in shaping the tactical approach for the opener so it will also be interesting to see how Zaragoza prepares his army for this crucial clash.
