ISL 2024-25: Full updated squad of Jamshedpur FC

Some old faces return to the Steel City as Khalid’s men prepare to leave an impact.
Jamshedpur FC, often found languishing in the lower echelons of the Indian Super League (ISL), are eager to turn the tide after two disappointing seasons. Since its debut in the top tier of Indian football, JFC have only managed to qualify for the playoffs once.
In a recent Durand Cup fixture, the team held a promising 2-0 lead against the Indian Army team in what was essentially a pre-quarterfinal clash. However, a series of defensive lapses saw them crash out in the group stage, a frustrating blow that force them to now focus on the upcoming ISL campaign.
Jamshedpur FC have roped in Albino Gomes, an experienced custodian, to replace Rehenesh TP after he decided to part ways and move on to Mumbai City FC following the last few seasons with the Red Miners. To reinforce the defense, they have signed Nigerian center-back Stephen Eze and Lazar Cirkovic from Serbia.
Stephen Eze is making his return to the Red Miners after playing a solitary season for the Steel City-based outfit. Following Provat Lakra’s departure to East Bengal, Ashutosh Mehta and Shubham Sarangi have been brought in to strengthen the right-back position.
One of the finest additions to Jamshedpur FC’s midfield is Javier Hernandez from Spain, who is widely regarded as one of the most experienced and skilled players to have graced the Indian Super League.
In attack, Jordan Murray will be partnering with Javier Siverio. For Murray, it will be a homecoming, as he was part of the miraculous 2021-22 season when Jamshedpur FC won the ISL Shield. Additionally, the signings of young local talents like Samir Murmu, Mobashir Rahman, Aniket Jadhav, and Sreekuttan VS make Jamshedpur FC one of the most promising and exciting teams to watch this season.
