The exciting young attacker’s versatility will be a boon for the Red Miners.

Jamshedpur FC have bolstered their attacking line with the signing of former India U19 striker Manvir Singh on a season-long deal. Hailing from Punjab, the 23-year-old joins from NorthEast United FC and has represented India at various youth levels.

Manvir’s talent was first recognized during his academy days in Punjab when he was scouted for the U17 World Cup Camp. He has also represented the Indian U-19 team in the OFC Development Tournament held in Vanuatu and was part of the AFC U-19 Qualifiers 2018 squad held in Saudi Arabia.

His football journey has been steady, with stints at top clubs and multiple accolades to his name. Known for his sharp goal-scoring instincts, he is regarded as a reliable player, capable of delivering when it matters most and he can be used as both winger and striker.

Coming from a footballing family, Manvir was shaped at the Chandigarh Football Academy before moving to Ozone FC, where he made his professional debut, scoring three goals in eight appearances. A brief spell with Kerala Blasters FC saw him loaned to Indian Arrows for the 2019-20 I-League season. At NorthEast United FC, Manvir spent three seasons, with loan spells at Delhi FC and FC Bengaluru United.

Expressing his excitement, Manvir said,

“I am thrilled to sign for Jamshedpur FC, one of the top clubs in the country. I’m eager to make an impact and start a new chapter in my career. The support from the coaching staff has been incredible, and I truly believe the team can achieve great things in the league.”

Jamshedpur FC head coach Khalid Jamil praised the new signing, saying,

“Manvir is an exciting young player with great versatility. He can play both as a striker and winger, and his strong, determined playing style makes him a valuable addition to our squad. What stands out about Manvir is his eagerness to learn and improve, making him a player with immense potential.”

Jamshedpur FC will kick off its ISL campaign with an away match against FC Goa on 17th September. The first home game of the season will be on 21st September at the JRD Sports Complex, where Jamshedpur FC will face Mumbai FC.
