Kerala Blasters are ready to take on Odisha FC in their next home game of Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi on January 13 (Monday).
When the sides met at the Kalinga Stadium for their previous encounter earlier in the season, the crowd witnessed a goal-fest in the first half.
Noah Sadaoui gave Kerala Blasters the lead in the 18th minute of the game, which was quickly followed by a beautiful finish from Jesus Jimenez to secure a two-goal cushion early in the game.
However, Odisha was gifted their first goal, which came from a harmless cross by Ahmed Jahouh. A fumble in the box by Sachin Suresh led to an own goal from Alexandre Coeff.
Diego Mauricio equalized in the 36th minute, with another error from Sachin Suresh helping the ball on its way. The game ended in a draw after both sides failed to secure a winner in the second half.
