Khalid Jamil eyes redemption against NorthEast United FC

Jamshedpur FC suffered a 5-0 heavy defeat in the reverse fixture.
Khalid Jamil’s Jamshedpur FC looks to recover from their recent setback as they gear up for a crucial clash against NorthEast United FC at the Furnace. With just five games left in the Indian Super League (ISL) season, every point is vital in the race for a strong finish. The Men of Steel have been formidable at home, and they aim to capitalize on this advantage to secure maximum points.
Ahead of this high-stakes encounter, head coach Khalid Jamil and captain Javi Hernandez addressed the media, shedding light on the team’s preparations, mindset, and the importance of fan support in their final stretch of the season.
On the team’s preparation
Reflecting on their previous match, which did not go as planned, Khalid Jamil emphasized the need for his players to learn from their mistakes and approach this fixture with renewed determination.
Despite their recent stumble, the head coach remains confident in his squad’s ability to respond with resilience.“We are preparing in the same way we approach every match, with full focus and commitment. The last game didn’t go as planned, and we have analyzed our mistakes. Now, it’s about correcting them and making sure we don’t repeat them on the pitch,” Khalid Jamil stated.
