NorthEast United FC vs FC Goa lineups, team news, prediction & preview
Both teams will look to grab three points from the clash.
The Indian Super League (ISL) will resume its proceedings in Guwahati as NorthEast United gear up to renew their ties with FC Goa. The Highlanders have remained undefeated at home in both of their games in 2025, but are still eyeing their first home win since November while FC Goa will look to strengthen their place in the top six.
The Stakes
NorthEast United FC
NorthEast United FC have certainly been one of the best teams in the ISL so far but could’ve done a lot better. The Highlanders have dropped 14 points from winning position this season and come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw to Punjab FC.
Juan Pedro Benali’s men have struggled to hold on to their leads and have often fumbled in the later stages of the game. They were the favorites to win their last two games, but just couldn’t stamp their authority and this very well might come back to haunt their playoff credentials.
FC Goa
FC Goa on the other contrary have been one of the most consistent teams in the league this season. They have recovered well from the hiccups early in the season and have not been an easy side to deal with.
Manolo Marquez has organized a perfectly oiled unit at FC Goa and the results speak for themselves. However, the Gaurs will count upon their flawless record on the road having secured 15 points away from home, the highest by any side.
Injury and Team News
NorthEast United FC: Hamza Regragui remains doubtful.
FC Goa: Borja Herrera is suspended for this game.

Players to Watch
Redeem Tlang (NorthEast United FC)
Redeem Tlang has rediscovered a new version of himself this season. The winger-turned-full-back has established himself as Juan Pedro Benali’s first choice and most trusted option at the right-back position.
He has made seven tackles and five blocks while winning the majority of his ground and aerial duels in the last two games. Redeem is also known for his blistering pace, dribbling abilities and executive pinpoint tackles.
Armando Sadiku (FC Goa)
Armando Sadiku has been the main man for FC Goa this season. He averages a goal every 94 minutes and has already found the back of the net nine times this season, including a brace against NorthEast United in the reverse fixture.
His physical prowess combined with his trickery and experience at the top makes him a very dangerous opponent to deal with. Additionally, he possesses a really good heading ability and can cause problems from setpieces.
