ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 32, Chennaiyin FC vs FC Goa
Daniel Chima Chukwu’s late equaliser helped the hosts level the proceedings at home.
Both Chennaiyin FC and FC Goa dropped points from a winning position and shared the spoils in a four-goal Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 thriller at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The Gaurs started strong and brought Samik Mitra into action early in the game when Wilmar Jordan Gil broke the deadlock in an unusual fashion and recorded his third goal of the season. Both sides created a few chances on either end but failed to convert them.
And then Udanta Singh came to his side’s rescue with a picture-perfect header and leveled the score just before half-time. FC Goa took the lead after Armando Sadiku found the back of the net from a spot kick and were well on course to secure a win until Daniel Chima Chukwu scored the equalizer in the 79th minute. Chennaiyin FC came very close to scoring another goal, but Laxmikant Kattimani stood tall and made crucial saves.
