SC Delhi vs Mohun Bagan SG: Head-to-head record ahead of ISL 2026-27

Both the teams will be eager to bounce back and gain a positive result

Sporting Club Delhi (SC Delhi) are set to host Mohun Bagan in their first home match of the 2026-27 Indian Super League (ISL) season on Friday, October 16.

The fixture will take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30 PM IST. Both sides will be looking to register their first points of the campaign after beginning the season with defeats.

For Sporting Club Delhi, the encounter presents an opportunity to respond in front of their home supporters after a disappointing opening result. Mohun Bagan Super Giant, meanwhile, will be keen to put their own setback behind them and get their campaign back on track.

With both teams seeking a response, the fixture promises to be an important early test of their ability to recover from adversity

Sporting Club Delhi suffered a 3-2 defeat against Bengaluru FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on October 10. Despite taking a 2-1 lead through Rodriguinho and an own goal from Menno Koch, they conceded twice in the final 15 minutes to lose the match. They will look to improve their defensive organisation and make home advantage count against the Mariners.

Mohun Bagan Super Giant also endured a disappointing start, losing 1-0 to NorthEast United FC on October 12. Jithin M.S. scored the decisive goal in stoppage time after the Mariners failed to convert their opportunities. The Kolkata-based side will aim to improve their finishing and defensive concentration as they seek their first victory of the season.
