FC Goa sit at the second spot in the ISL table.
FC Goa have strengthened their place at the second position on the ISL 2024-25 table with a hard-fought 0-1 win over Punjab FC in the national capital. This was Goa’s 13th win of the season and with this win they have now secured four back-to-back wins. They looked great in all aspects and controlled the tempo of the game with perfection. The Gaurs combined well to create the first chance of the game with Carl McHugh forcing Muheet Shabbir into action.
The Irish midfielder eventually broke the deadlock with a picture perfect left footed strike from outside the box and put his side into the driving seat. Punjab FC created two quick chances in response, but couldn’t make the most out of those.
