Jharkhand squad for Santosh Trophy 2024; Sanjay Murmu & Mohammad Adnan included

Jharkhand eyes redemption in the upcoming edition of Santosh Trophy.
Jharkhand had a campaign worth forgetting in the previous edition of Santosh Trophy. They were placed alongside Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Nagaland in Group C last time. Their catastrophic campaign saw them exiting the tournament without a single win and securing just a solitary draw as well as a point.
Jharkhand’s gaffer Sudipto Mazumdar will be keen to scale the “Land of Forests” to take great heights in the upcoming edition of Santosh Trophy.
This time around Jharkhand are placed in a tight group alongside Bihar, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh in Group C. Their new campaign will commence at the Kalyani Stadium when they will lock horns against West Bengal in their opening fixture on November 16th.
Post that, they will face neighbours Bihar on 18th November before facing the formidable Uttar Pradesh outfit in their final group stage fixtures. They will be keen to grab early points and maintain a decent goal difference to further bolster their chances of making it to the next round of the competition.
