Watch: FC Goa 5-1 NorthEast United highlights
Here are the ratings of the Indian players from the match:
FC Goa
Mohammed Nawaz - 6.5
The young shot-stopper had very little to do in the first half. Pulled off a great stop when called upon in the initial stages of the second half, when Redeem Tlang could have scored for the visitors.
Seriton Fernandes - 7.5
The full-back was very solid offensively and defensively. He made darting overlapping runs, creating problems for the Highlanders on the right flank. He made four tackles, two interceptions and also blocked four shots. The Goan’s presence was key in limiting the influence of the NorthEast wingers.
Mandar Rao Desai - 5.5
In the first half, Mandar looked very shaky, especially when he had the ball. He constantly lost possession which nullified a lot of Goa's attacks. The full-back looked worn out and outrun for majority of the game.
Mandar looked like the lone weak-link in the stable Goa system. He had a woeful passing accuracy of 66% and committed two fouls.
Brandon Fernandes - 7.0

Watch: The Goan got a good chance to open the scoring in the first half but fluffed his opportunity
The Goan midfielder was in the thick of things for major parts of the game. The fan-favourite however carelessly lost possession a few times. But, his creativity was in full display when he squared a ball for Hugo Boumous to tap in for Goa’s third goal.
Lenny Rodrigues - 7.0
Without Ahmed Jahouh, Lenny took the mantle of the midfield and dictated play for the Gaurs although, he was sloppy on the ball a few times. The Goan managed to neutralize the NorthEast midfield and provided a solid anchor for the Gaurs' defence. The midfielder had a 91% passing accuracy and also made two tackles and two interceptions.
Jackichand Singh - 7.5
Jacki’s incessant penetrative runs were a constant problem for the NorthEast defence. His pace and skill allowed him to break free and put in numerous threatening crosses. His persistence paid off finally when his cross found Corominas in the middle for Goa’s second goal.
Substitutes
Manvir Singh - NA
Pulled off a few defensive stops to prevent NorthEast from getting back into the game after coming on.
Pratesh Shirodkar - NA
Came on towards the end of the game, but failed to make a mark.

NorthEast United
Pawan Kumar - 5.0
Distributed the ball very efficiently, but had little to do in terms of shot-stopping in the first half. He was however, helpless against the Goan attack in the second half.

Watch: The defender was good in the opening 45 minutes
Had a very solid first half. The NorthEast centre-back held fort preventing any forays from the dangerous Goan attack through the middle. He was also a key figure in building play from the back. But, a costly mistake from him allowed Edu Bedia to break free and double Goa’s advantage in the second half.
Reagan Singh - 5.5
The NorthEast right-back was booked in the first half for an unnecessary foul. He neutralized the threats from Brandon Fernandes and Mandar with a very strong defensive display, making three tackles and one interception.
Rowllin Borges - 6.0
The midfield enforcer dominated the midfield with his calmness and composure on the ball. His slick passing managed to release pressure several times from the Highlanders’ back-line. However, he was booked for a needless foul towards the end of the first half. In the second, the Indian international failed to pull off anything significant. His sloppy play led to Goa’s fourth goal.
Redeem Tlang - 5.5
The winger’s runs were causing problems for Goa’s left-back Mandar. However, his lack of end-product helped the Gaurs hold fort. He put in a shift defensively, but was invisible offensively. He had a poor passing accuracy of 58% and failed to exert himself and trouble the Goan back four in the second half.
Robert Lalthlamuana - 5.5
The left-back was constantly put under pressure by Jackichand and the overlapping runs of Seriton. He failed to stop the crosses from the former on several occasions, which led to attacking opportunities for Goa. His yellow card saw him substituted at the beginning of the second half.
Substitutes
Keegan Pereira - 5.5
Keegan provided some stability in the first few minutes, but he was outdone by Jackichand’s pace which led to the first Goa goal. A very forgettable game for the full-back.
Nikhil Kadam - NA
Came on in the latter stages of the second half.
