Asish Rai - 7 The young defender was praised highly by his manager prior to the game and was given his chance from the start against Goa. However, the youngster suffered a slightly underwhelming first half, with a passing accuracy of 53%. The youngster did show glimpses of his defensive talent, with four clearances and one tackle in the first half. Mohammed Yasir - 6 Yasir was given the responsibility of attacking a tad more in this game, with his defensive partners covering for him when he bombed forward. The winger often struggled with the pace of the game, misplacing a number of passes in the first half, evidenced by a dismal passing accuracy of 45%. However, the defender did manage two tackles and two clearances during the match. Adil Khan - 7 The highly-rated India international was an engine in the midfield for the side from Hyderabad, shielding his back four from wave after wave of Goa attack. The versatile player maintained an impressive passing accuracy of 78% and made a mammoth nine clearances. Nikhil Poojary - 6.5 Another impressive defensive effort from Poojary who managed seven clearances over the course of 90 minutes, to keep the irresistible Gaurs at bay. Poojary, however, did little going forward, with just a single cross and no chances created. Laldanmawia Ralte - 5.5 The Hyderabad FC winger maintained a 71% passing accuracy for the 60 minutes for which he was on the pitch. However, Ralte struggled to make any kind of impact on the game, failing to create a single chance or get a single shot on target.Substitutes
Robin Singh - 4 An anonymous performance from the Hyderabad attacker who will be disappointed that he did not make more of a case to nail down a starting spot in this side against Goa. His only shot was well over the bar. Quite the let down.FC Goa
Mohammad Nawaz - 8 Another clean sheet for the FC Goa shot-stopper who made an impressive four saves throughout the game. Nawaz was also impressive in his distribution, with a passing accuracy of 84%. Seriton Fernandes - 7 With a passing accuracy of 91%, the right-back put in a performance of high commendation against Hyderabad. Singh maintained a massive passing accuracy of 97%, making five clearances and two blocks in the process. Mandar Rao Dessai - 6.5 The left-back did more from an attacking perspective than he did defensively, over the course of the match. Dessai completed four crosses and created one chance from the left wing but could only managed a meagre passing accuracy of 67%. Lenny Rodrigues - 7 The midfielder was a passing machine in the first half with a passing accuracy of 92%. Rodrigues did the simple things right and was crucial in covering for his attacking players as they bombed up the pitch. His passes through the lines proved a consistent source of torment for the defence. Brandon Fernandes - 8 The FC Goa No. 10 was instrumental to his side's attacking performance in the first half, managing three crosses, three tackles and a passing accuracy of 75%. In a match where Goa was missing their primary attacking outlet in Coro, Fernandes took up the mantle to the best of his ability, tormenting the Hyderabad defence.
