Top 10 Premier League fixtures to watch this season

The most anticipated football league in the world, the Premier League is upon us once again with another bumper season. The 2018-19 campaign kicks-off with a clash of two megastar teams as Manchester United take on Leicester City. Last season we witnessed a complete domination of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, as the Etihad based side won the league by grossing 100 points, which is also a league record.
In this article, we at Khel Now have compiled a list of the top ten fixtures to watch this season:
10. Arsenal Vs Manchester City – 12th August 2018
Arsenal who had a rough 2017-18 season will have to play brilliant football right from the start.
Unai Emery, the new manager of the Gunners already has a lot of work to do and a clash against City could make matters worse. The defending champions showed total domination last season and will definitely look to continue their momentum this time around.
9. Tottenham Hotspur Vs Liverpool – 15th September 2018
Tottenham will play Liverpool on September in a crunch encounter, which could have an impact on the Golden Boot race, with Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane possibly battling it out.
Although, they had an inactive transfer window, Spurs could still pose a threat to Jurgen Klopp and his men.
8. Manchester City Vs Manchester United – 11th November 2018
Who doesn't love to watch a derby game? Even a non-football fan watches a football match if its a derby and that too between two fierce rivals. The Manchester Derby is one of the most watched football games in the world and it has never failed to test our nerves. The first clash of the 2018-19 season will be played at the Etihad on November 11.
Last season both teams won a game each, as City won the first contest 2-1 while the Red Devils came from two goals down to win the second derby at the Etihad, which delayed City's title-winning celebration by a week. It is the most anticipated game of the coming season as both the arch-rivals would definitely try to draw first blood.
7. Liverpool Vs Manchester United – 15th December 2018
Liverpool and Manchester United's rivalry is one of the oldest in the Premier League. Whenever these teams battle we are guaranteed to witness 90 minutes full of action-packed drama. The first game of this rivalry is set to take place at Anfield on December 15th.
Last season both the teams failed to open the scoreline when they met at Anfield, but the battle was as fierce as ever. This season we hope that the scoreline will show how fierce the battle was.
6. Manchester City Vs Liverpool – 1st January 2019
Manchester City and Liverpool were the stars of the Premier League last season. One smashed most of the Premier League records in style, while other carried the league's flag all the way to the final of Europe's top competition ie UEFA Champions League. Both the teams have players with immense potential and talent.
While Manchester City will try to defend the title, Liverpool will definitely try to chase silverware. The first clash of the two star-studded teams will take place at the Etihad on a very special day ie 1st January 2019.

5. Tottenham Hotspur Vs Arsenal – 2nd March 2019
Last season Tottenham again achieved what they play for – finishing above Arsenal. The North London Derby has provided some of the best moments. Tension and intensity on the ground has always been very high. Both teams managed to win a game last season.
With Mauricio Pochettino having a very stable side and Arsenal playing under new management, it will be interesting to see on which side the tie tilts.
4. Manchester United Vs Chelsea – 27th April 2019
Manchester United Vs Chelsea in the last part of the League is a game definitely to look out for. This game could be a title decider or a top four decider. Thus, it could change the outcome of the league drastically.
Maurizio Sarri will have a lot of work to do, as his side fared poorly last season. But, if he records a win against United, it would be marvellous for all the Blues fans.
3. Chelsea Vs Arsenal – 18th August 2018
Arsenal probably have the toughest start to their new campaign as they face defending champions City first up, followed by the clash against Chelsea. Emery has to sort out his team and tactics quickly to ensure that he starts on a bright note at his new club.
Chelsea and Arsenal both had a terrible season last time around and will surely try to bounce back as strongly as possible.
2. Chelsea Vs Liverpool – 29th September 2018
Chelsea will lock horns against Liverpool on November 29. Liverpool who have a bunch of promising players will be a tough task for Chelsea to handle. With home advantage, grabbing three points from the spirited Liverpool side would definitely help Chelsea bring their train back on the track after the terrible run last season.

We expect that this season to also be same, filled with goals as Arsenal will try to bounce back from a terrible 2017-18 term, while Liverpool will try to rack up as many goals as possible, just like they did last season.
