The Tottenham Hotspur talisman has long expressed his desire to move elsewhere.

After bursting onto the scene in 2014, Harry Kane has established himself as one of the most lethal strikers in Europe. The England international has been putting in tremendous performances every season. Kane has bagged 167 goals in 254 appearances in the Premier League. The Tottenham marksman is currently in seventh position in the all-time highest Premier League goalscorers charts.

However, this season, the England captain has been uncharacteristically off colour. He has scored just one goal in the Premier League, and has been putting in some pretty bad performances. In spite of this, any club would be more than happy to get Harry Kane given the opportunity. The talisman’s heart is set on a move to a club where he is sure to win trophies.

Here are the five clubs that should target the Tottenham talisman:

5. Liverpool

Harry Kane has made it clear that he wants to move to a Premier League club. If Liverpool were to sign the England international, the front three of Kane, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah will cause tremors in Europe. Liverpool have been highly-dependent on the goals of Salah and Mane. An injury to either of the two could cause havoc for the Reds, as they lack a replacement for the pair. The club also lack an out-and-out No. 9. Roberto Firmino is not a traditional striker and does not guarantee 20+ goals every season. That is where Harry Kane comes into the picture.

Kane would be the ideal striker for Jurgen Klopp, given his work-rate. The attacker would also link-up with international teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold. Given Trent’s ability on the ball and Kane’s lethal touch in front of goal, the duo could form a devastating partnership. Given Kane’s scoring feats, the Reds would have to shell out a huge amount to sign Tottenham’s No. 10.

4. Manchester United

Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Old Trafford many times in the past. Given the Red Devils' reputation and history, they would be among the handful of clubs that can afford the England international. Even though United already have top-class strikers in Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani, both are in their twilight years. Kane, at 28, is in his prime and would be the man to lead United's attack for a minimum of five seasons.

United have lacked a striker, who can not only score but also hold up play and create for his teammates. The Tottenham ace is not only known for his goals, but also his involvement in the build-up play. Kane often drops deep to receive the ball, has the ability to skip challenges and also the vision to provide defence-splitting passes for his teammates. He provided 14 assists in the last Premier League campaign.

3. Real Madrid

Real Madrid have a history of luring Tottenham’s top stars like Gareth Bale and Luka Modric to the Santiago Bernabeu. Florentino Perez is well-versed with the bargaining game of Daniel Levy at Spurs. If, Harry Kane is to follow the same path, he would be guaranteed trophies in the Spanish capital.

The Los Blancos have a knack for making statement signings. The Tottenham ace would fit their profile perfectly. Since the departure of Ronaldo, Madrid have lacked the cutting edge in front of goal. Marquee signings like Eden Hazard have failed to replace the Portuguese superstar. Karim Benzema, at 33 is still proving his worth, but his age and lack of consistency seems to be a hindrance for Real Madrid. Harry Kane would be ideal to lead the Madrid frontline for the near future . The England international will be able to provide the clinical finishing and dependability in front of goal that Madrid often lack.

2. Paris Saint Germain

A reunion with former boss Mauricio Pochettino would surely be tempting for Harry Kane. The England international thrived under the Argentine at Tottenham Hotspur and transformed into one of the most feared strikers on the planet. Kane scored 169 goals in all competitions under Pochettino and the duo were just inches away from winning the Premier League in 2015/16 as well as the Champions League in 2019.

PSG are amongst the handful of clubs that can afford a talismanic striker like Kane. At the Parc des Princes, he will be in the company of superstars like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. Even though the Parisians have dominated Ligue 1, they always seem to fall short in their Champions League quest. Kane could be the final piece of the puzzle at PSG.

1. Manchester City

Manchester City were on the verge of signing Harry Kane in the summer of 2021. The move seemed inevitable, until Daniel Levy put a stop to negotiations. The Tottenham ace was seen as the Ideal man to replace their all-time top scorer Sergio Aguero. Since the failed transfer, both the parties involved have suffered massively.

The Cityzens, this season, have the worst conversion rate since Pep Guardiola took over, with Phil Foden being their top scorer with three goals. There have been games where City have looked toothless without a proper striker. Given the amount of chances they create and Kane’s clinical nature in front of goal, they would flourish in each other's company. The signing of the Tottenham ace would certainly make City an unstoppable force in Europe. Given Kane’s stature, the goals and shirt sales he would bring to Manchester City seem a match made in heaven.
