Argentina predicted line-up for Canada clash in Copa America 2024; Lionel Messi to lead the World Champions

World champions & defending Copa America winners, Argentina national football team are all set to kick off the 48thedition of Copa America, when they face debutants Canada in just a few hours. La Albiceleste is placed in Group A of Copa America 2024, where they will go head-to-head with Canada, Peru & Chile.

A team led by the legend Lionel Messi & managed by champion tactician Lionel Scaloni aims for their 16th Copa America trophy as they strive to become the only team with the highest number of championships in their tally.

Argentina’s predicted lineup against Canada

GK: Emi Martinez

The man whose entry changed the Argentine national team for once and for all is Emiliano Martinez. His arrival gave the rusty Argentine defense a new source of energy.

LB: Marcos Acuna

The veteran Sevilla FC left-back has also been an integral part of Argentina’s recent triumphs. Besides doing error-free tackles, the defender hails the ability to cater perfect passes to the midfield & also assist the forward line just like a winger.

In 57 games for the national team, he has seven assists to this name. He will be a tough man for the Canadian forward line & midfield.

CB: Lisandro Martinez
