Atalanta vs Liverpool Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast
The Reds have a 3-goal deficit to recover from and that too away from home
Atalanta are no doubt happy with their performance in Anfield stadium. The first leg of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League saw them beat Liverpool by not one, not two but three goals. After a 3-0 win Gian Piero Gasperini’s men were active in the Serie A. They shared a point with Hellas Verona for the 2-2 draw.
Liverpool surely had a night to forget. In the first leg, they were not only beaten but the deficit was so big that now it almost looks impossible to come back. Later the clash with Crystal Palace in the Premier League further dampened the mood in the camp with a 1-0 defeat. Jürgen Klopp will surely use the 4-0 win over FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League back in 2019 in the team talk as a motivation.

Players to Watch
Gianluca Scamacca (Atalanta)
In the first leg, Gianluca Scamacca did the damage on two occasions. Scamacca scored a goal each in both halves on the night at Anfield. After a brace of goals in UEL, the former West Ham United forward was on the scoresheet in Serie A as well.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
The entire Liverpool fanbase will be backing their star man to step up. Mohamed Salah is the most influential player we can think about and possibly will be their saviour in this must-win tie. Salah is the third top scorer in the PL with 17 goals and also has 4 goals in UEL.

Injury & Team News
The home team will miss the defensive option of Giorgio Scalvini. The 20-year-old is out with a hamstring injury. The team lineup shouldn’t change from the first leg given they have a 3-0 lead to defend and won’t require much overthinking.
Two key players who didn’t participate in the first leg are back just in time. Particularly the Reds were missing the goalkeeping services of Alisson Becker. Alisson played the full 90 minutes against the Eagles and should be the sound selection for the trip. Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was also on the pitch as a substitute. Thiago Alcántara, Joel Matip, Conor Bradley and Ben Doak are sidelined with respective injuries.
