Blues are currently 11th in Premier League
If Mauricio Pochettino leaves Chelsea, The Blues are considerig Eddie Howe to take over in the Stamford Bridge dugout. The Englishman is expected to quit the Magpies at the end of the current campaign, and St. James’ Park’s higher authorities are allegedly thinking of hiring a big-name candidate like Julian Nagelsmann.
As Pochettino faces increasing pressure, Chelsea may also be looking to hire a new manager this summer. The Argentine has lost the backing of a big portion of the fan base and has experienced difficulty in getting the most out of his team, which is valued at over £1 billion.
Pochettino needs to inspire a major shift in performance from his squad, which is now in 11th position in the Premier League, if they are to guarantee European football. But, it would become more likely that there would be a change in the dugout if the former Tottenham manager is unable to accomplish this.Pochettino’s successor at Chelsea has been widely anticipated to be one of several options, including Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton and Ruben Amorim of Sporting.
