Costa Rica and Paraguay – the bottom two teams of Group D in Copa America 2024 are all set to lock horns in their last group stage game. Costa Rica still have their dreams alive to go further in the competition, while Paraguay are already eliminated.

The Gustavo Alfaro-coached Costa Rica national football team surprised the world with their impressive performance in the first game of Copa America 2024 when they drew with the mighty Brazil. It is this performance which has kept them in the race for the quarter finals despite getting trampled by Colombia in the last game.

Paraguay on the other hand have had a below-par campaign. After narrowly losing to Colombia in the first one, they got humbled by Brazil in the second. The Daniel Garnero-led side would surely like to end their bitter campaign on a sweet note.
