Les Bleus are one of the contenders for the Euros.

France National Team are an early favourite for winning the UEFA Euro 2024. Under the guidance of Didier Deschamps, the Les Bleus have established themselves as world leaders. Since France haven’t won any European Championship since 2000, this is a great opportunity for them to do so and build up their reputation as one of the best teams in the world.

France will be in Group D alongside Austria, the Netherlands and Poland. As the rest of the teams are also in great form, Les Bleus will need to perform at their best to emerge victorious from the group.

France Predicted Lineup (Formation 4-2-3-1):

GK: Mike Maignan

Mike Maignan has become the main man for the National team between the sticks taking the place of Hugo Lloris. He first made his debut for the team in 2019 and since then he has made 14 appearances for the National team as he had to be patient for his place in the team.

This season has not been that great for him as an individual as well as a team. Maignan has developed into a world-class goalkeeper who is equally adept at distributing the ball and is comfortable with the ball at his feet.

RB: Jules Koundé

Jules Koundé is one of the most effective one-on-one defenders in Europe because he is strong in the tackle and also uses his speed to prevent the opposition from creating or scoring any chances. He had a productive season with Barcelona making 35 appearances for the team scoring one goal and assisting another two.

Koundé is a versatile player who is equally adept at playing as a right-back. So far he has made 26 appearances for the France National team and will be aiming to play a crucial role in this year’s competition.

CB: Benjamin Pavard

Benjamin Pavard has developed into a versatile player for the national team after playing mostly as a right-back and central defender. This season he has made 31 appearances for Inter Milan mostly playing in the right side of a back three. Pavard has been with France since 2017 seeing all the highs and lows during his time with the team. He has made 53 appearances for the national team scoring five goals.

CB: Ibrahima Konaté

Ibrahima Konaté has become a reliable defender for the national team after making his debut in June 2022. So far he has made 14 appearances for the team and will be aiming to play a crucial role in the Euros. He has turned into a complete defender who is strong in the air and has the pace to defend in one-on-one situations. This season he has made 37 appearances with Liverpool and was a key member of the team at the back.

LB: Theo Hernández

Theo Hernández has developed into a world-class left-back at AC Milan after making over 214 appearances for the team. He has learned the art of defending with the best in the business. But the most impressive trait of his game is his ability to bomb forward from the left-hand side of the pitch to join in attacks as well as score some crucial goals at the same time. So far he has made 25 appearances for France scoring two goals.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga

Eduardo Camavinga had an outstanding campaign with Real Madrid this year winning the LaLiga and Champions League with the team. He played an important role in the middle of the park for the team with Deschamps hoping he can replicate the same impact with the national team.

Camavinga is a young talent who has the hunger and desire to do best for the team often seen by his body language. He is known for his tenacious industry constantly winning the ball back through tackles and interceptions.

CM: Aurélien Tchouaméni

Another player who is making a name for himself with Real Madrid and the France National team. Tchouaméni had an impressive campaign with the Los Blancos where he played a prominent role in their push for the silverware.

He mostly played as a defender with the team filling the void left by his teammates due to injuries and can be proud of his performance at the heart of the defence. This season he made 38 appearances for the team scoring three goals while assisting another one.

RW: Ousmane Dembélé

Ousmane Dembélé had an incredible debut season with PSG after making 42 appearances for the team this season scoring six goals while assisting another 12. He had impressed from the right-wing taking on defenders with his pace and trickery.

The biggest trait of his game is his ability to score from both the doors which makes things complicated for the defenders as they get confused with his quick feet. So far he has made 43 appearances for the team scoring five goals.

France predicted lineup for UEFA Euro 2024

CAM: Antoine Griezmann

Antoine Griezmann has become a fundamental player for the national team often playing as the link-up player between the defence and attack. He had an outstanding campaign with Atletico Madrid this season making 48 appearances for the team scoring 24 goals while also making eight assists.

He is also one of the senior players in the team who has made over 127 appearances, scoring 44 goals. He will be a crucial player for Les Bleus in the Euros.

LW: Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe secured his dream move to Real Madrid this summer after an outstanding season with PSG which saw him score 44 goals in 48 appearances for the team while also adding 10 assists for the team. He has been a vital member of the team who has time and time again proved to be the difference maker for the team.

Mbappe boasts an incredible stat for the national team having scored 46 goals from 77 appearances. He is behind Giroud and Henry in the all-time top scorer list and has the golden chance to help his nation win another silverware.

ST: Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud has been one of the most underrated forwards in Europe who doesn’t get the plaudits he deserves for his performance for the club and national team. He currently holds the record of the all-time top scorer in France’s history, breaking Thierry Henry’s record.

He has made 131 appearances for France scoring 57 goals in the process. This season he has made 48 appearances with AC Milan scoring 17 goals while assisting another nine. He will be aiming to play a crucial role for France in Euros which will probably be his last one with the team.
