Harry Kane has reportedly travelled to England for national team matches
Harry Kane is scheduled for service with England despite the fear about his ankle injury.
Chiefs of the Football Association have examined Kane’s condition after he hobbled off following Bayern Munich’s 5-2 victory in Darmstadt. The team will reunite at St George’s Park on Tuesday, and Kane, 30, is expected to make a full recovery from his twisted ankle injury.
Skipper Kane is expected to be the focal point of the final meeting before the team is announced for the Euros this summer. England manager Gareth Southgate wants to have as strong a team as possible for the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium.
Christoph Freund, the sporting director of Bayern Munich, stated:
“He will be looked at in England. He has trusted doctors there. We are in close coordination on this. Harry won’t take any risks.”
Just prior to intermission on Saturday, Harry Kane, the all-time greatest goal scorer for England with 62 goals, scored his 31st goal of the campaign. However, as he attempted to score another goal, Kane later crashed into a post and had to be replaced.

In a statement, Bayern said: “Harry Kane injured his left ankle in FC Bayern’s 5-2 win at Darmstadt. The striker has still travelled to international duty with England and will be treated by the team doctors there, in close consultation with the FC Bayern medical department.”
“I genuinely don’t know the answer to that. That will depend on what sort of cover we need and what the profiles of the rest of the squad are, so whether we need a couple of players that are adaptable and can play in different positions, which means you can take specialists in certain other positions.
“We feel that Ivan is one of the contenders in that [no.9] role so it was important to bring him back in and be able to work with us again. He showed straight away, getting back into Brentford’s team, the quality and the impact that he can have.
“Equally, Ollie is having an outstanding season with Aston Villa and is a player in excellent form and I have to say, Unai Emery has done a brilliant job with Villa and Ollie is a player that has benefited from that work.”
Ivan Toney of Brentford and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa are also included in the team and will get the opportunity to make a claim for the 2024 European Championship. “Maybe, maybe not,” was Southgate’s response when asked if he would have room in his 23-man team for the tournament for both Watkins and Toney.
