The Three Lions are among the favourites for the Euro 2024 title.

Each England player who competes for the Three Lions in Euro 2024 will receive compensation throughout the competition.

The England manager, Gareth Southgate, has only till June 7 to reduce his team’s size to the necessary 26 men. Therefore he is currently choosing which of his players to omit from the provisional 33 list and bring the remaining 26-man roster to Germany for the European Championships.

England are expected to be one of the contenders to win this summer’s competition among other contenders including Spain, France, Germany and Italy, the defending champions.

Although Southgate’s team will be motivated by the chance to bring home the nation’s first major trophy since 1966, there is also a financial benefit to advancing far in the competition.

How much will each England player earn in Euro 2024?

UEFA will pay each nation competing at Euro 2024 a certain amount every game; the distribution of this money will be left up to the individual football associations.

To reward each country for qualifying to Germany, UEFA will award £7.92 million; this sum will rise over time. In the end, the winners would take home £26 million.

They will still get the usual compensation for representing their nation, in addition to that price. Wales Online reports that England players will make approximately £2,000 per game. However, since 2007, they have donated the money to the England Football Foundation, which subsequently donates it to charitable organisations.

The FA of each nation will, once again, determine whether to increase that cost through a bonus system.

For instance, England’s bonuses will probably be based on winning the competition, but other countries are more likely to receive funding if they go past the group stage.
