Les Bleus will miss Kylian Mbappe’s firepower for this game.

Israel are set to welcome former World Champions France on matchday 3 of the UEFA Nations League. They will be looking to secure their first point of the campaign after losing back-to-back matches against Belgium and Italy.

Israel have endured a disappointing campaign thus far losing their opening two matches of the Nations League. They started their tenure with a 3-1 loss against Belgium in the first match followed by a narrow loss against Italy.

Ran Ben Shimon’s side showed some promise in those matches but were eventually outclassed by the quality in the squad separating these teams. The upcoming matches against France and Italy will be crucial for them in the hope of any chance of making it to the playoff spots.

Meanwhile, France bounced back in their last match to register a dominant 2-0 win over Belgium. Didier Deschamps will be proud of his team for how they have reacted after suffering a defeat against Italy in the opening match.

Although Les Bleus have a wealth of attacking talents at their disposal they will be without the reliable pair of Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe for these games. It remains to be seen how they will fare without their two of the most important players.

Kick-Off:

Players to Watch

Tai Baribo (Israel)

Tai Baribo is having a wonderful season with the Philadelphia Union in the MLS where he has emerged as one of the exciting forwards having already scored 16 goals from 25 appearances. He remains Israel’s big hope for scoring the goal in this match. Baribo is a typical forward who mainly likes to play in the central role but on occasion drifts wide to create chances for the team. Although he has managed to appear 16 times for the national team, Baribo only has three goals to his name.

Youssouf Fofana (France)

Youssouf Fofana has slowly emerged as a vital member of this team who has been delivering consistent performances for the team ever since making his debut for France in the heart of the midfield. He has started the new season in good form for his new side AC Milan, becoming a constant rock in the midfield.

Fofana will be important in this match in limiting the host with his timely interceptions and tackles. While he is known for his defensive masterclass, Fofana can also be dangerous in the attacking areas. He can score some thunderous strikes from outside the box.
