Borussia Dortmund star Julian Brandt left out of Germany squad for Euro 2024

Mats Hummels is also not a part of Nagelsmann’s plans
It has been revealed that Julian Brandt has been left out of Germany’s Euro 2024 roster. Brandt has been iced out by Julian Nagelsmann, along with teammate Mats Hummels of Borussia Dortmund.
The BVB forward contributed to the team’s journey to the Champions League final, and he has had an outstanding season finale. Although Brandt has contributed 25 goals so far this season—9 goals and 16 assists—that isn’t enough to secure a spot in the team.
Even more shocking is the inclusion of Jan-Niklas Beste from Hiedenheim, who has a function akin to Brandt’s.
Before the news was released, Nagelsmann had already told the 28-year-old about the choice. Nagelsmann reportedly thought favourably of Brandt and called the decision at the time “hardship.”
Other than Niclas Füllkrug and Nico Schlotterbeck, no other BVB players have been called up to the Germany team as of yet. The selections for the Germany squad led by Julian Nagelsmann for Euro 2024 are still being made by the DFB, following the earlier today revelations of Robert Andrich, Pascal Groß, and Joshua Kimmmich.

Ilkay Gundogan, the captain and midfielder for Barcelona, has been featured on a billboard in Berlin’s Aleksanderplatz since the morning statements. The announcement of Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger’s call-up came from his preferred Berlin kebab shop.
In contrast, David Raum appeared in a video produced in association with Lufthansa for the most recent announcement.
On his Instagram page, Thomas Muller also declared himself to be a member of the team.
The DFB has disclosed players in this way to prevent journalists from leaking information, but it hasn’t prevented them—it has already been known that Julian Brandt and Mats Hummels won’t be in the 26-man roster this summer.
