The Eagles will be aiming to put more misery on the Black Stars.

Mali are languishing in the second spot in Group I of the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers. The Eagles have secured four points in the opening two matches by opening their account with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over Chad followed by a 1-1 draw against Central African Republic. They will now face Ghana and later Madagascar in these crucial qualifying matches. 

Ghana currently finds themselves in the fourth spot in the table after collecting three points from the opening two matches. The Black Stars opened their qualifying account with a close 1-0 win over Madagascar followed by a 1-0 loss against leaders Comoros. They will now face Ghana and later Central African Republic in these qualifying matches to maintain their position in the table.
