Marseille in advance talks to sign Paul Pogba: Report

Pogba is attracting interest from many clubs.
Marseille are in advanced talks with Paul Pogba. They are hoping to sign the midfielder after his doping ban was reduced to 18 months from four years.
Now, the former Manchester United player can resume his playing career in March. Although he is still under contract with Juventus, he is unlikely to play for the Serie A club.
The France international is in talks with the Italian club to terminate his deal with them. He wants to resume his career somewhere else. It is understood that Pogba could also join Lionel Messi‘s Inter Miami. But so far things remain up in the air.
Once the 31-year-old terminates his contract he will become a free agent and many clubs will be vying for his signature. He is already linked with an MLS club, but many European teams will be hoping to sign the player given Paul Pogba will provide top quality to the team.
Pogba has not played football since September last year after he was banned for testing positive for doping. But the midfielder appealed to the court and his ban has now been decreased.
He has enough time to return to playing football, and until then, he will be working on his fitness. It is reported that he can start training in January.
After joining Juventus, the Frenchman made only 12 appearances, spending most of his time with the Serie A club ravaged by injuries.
Paul Pogba has also received offers from the Saudi clubs. It will be interesting to see what decision he makes once his ban is completely lifted.
He can either continue playing in Europe or join one of the Saudi sides or MLS clubs. At MLS he will get a chance to rebuild his career in a less pressurized environment while still playing at a competitive level.
Nevertheless, Paul Pogba is the one who is going to make the final decision about his future, once he terminates his deal with the Italian club.
