"No. Why? Never": Mauricio Pochettino on quitting Chelsea job

Pochettino has suffered 11 defeats in his first season as Blues manager
Mauricio Pochettino feels that his young team is getting is “completely unfair” and has sworn to never leave Chelsea. Chelsea won five Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues during Roman Abramovich’s ownership of the team, but the Argentinian has had difficulty bringing the team back to such heights.
Pochettino’s Chelsea are ranked eleventh in the table. Still, it looks very inevitable that there won’t be any competition in Europe for a second straight season. In recent weeks, fans have been disenchanted with the head coach and his team.
This was evident in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Brentford, as the club gave up a first-half lead and only managed to avoid defeat thanks to a late equaliser.
Their encounter on Monday will be their first league match in front of their home supporters since they were jeered off during a 4-2 loss to Wolves at the beginning of February. They faced criticism after losing to a diminished Liverpool squad in the Carabao Cup final two weeks prior.Since co-owner Todd Boehly started a quest to rid the club of its more well-known players in favour of higher-priced but inexperienced newcomers, Chelsea have the youngest roster in the league, and Pochettino believes some of the analysis has been out of place.

When asked if he would think about leaving, he answered:
“No. Why? Never.”
“We love challenge,” Pochettino said. “We came from a different project at Paris St Germain.
“Here the challenge is massive. We accepted to come here knowing that it’s never easy. The pressure and the feeling that you are Chelsea and you need to win.
“But we are so excited to be here and support this project.”
