Sean Dyche issues Nottingham Forest injury update ahead of Europa League clash vs Malmö

Nottingham Forest have been hit with a major injury blow.
Morgan Gibbs-White will be absent from Nottingham Forest’s UEFA Europa League match against Malmö on Thursday, according to manager Sean Dyche.
The England international, who has been on an incredible run of form lately and has scored in each of his previous three Premier League games, including Saturday’s victory at Anfield, will be greatly missed by Dyche’s team.
With three goal contributions in his four Europa League games this season, Morgan Gibbs-White has also excelled on the European scene.

Before the match, Dyche acknowledged the 25-year-old’s absence and expressed his hope that the midfielder would return soon, even though it was unclear how serious the injury was.
“He’s going to miss this one. Hopefully, it’ll settle down quickly but we’re waiting for news. We’re just settling an issue with him [Gibbs-White], he’s going to miss this one. Hopefully it’ll settle down quickly, but we’re waiting for news.”
Although the former Everton manager withheld information on Morgan Gibbs-White’s injury, he expressed optimism that the midfield player would recover quickly.

He also said that, like Chris Wood and Oleksandr Zinchenko, Dilane Bakwa and Ola Aina remain out of contention.
“[Ola] Aina isn’t back on the grass and [Dilane] Bakwa is still out.”
Nottingham Forest defeated Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield to make it two straight victories after defeating Leeds United 3-1 before the November international break.
The Tricky Trees will play Malmö of Sweden in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, November 27. Meanwhile, in the Premier League, they stand 16th in the table.
