Real Madrid predicted lineup after signing Kylian Mbappe
The attacking department of the Los Blancos is set to instil fear in opposition defences.
Real Madrid CF have finally completed the blockbuster signing of Kylian Mbappe. The reigning European champions have added one of the best footballers in the world to their star-studded squad. The club announced the arrival of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner in a matter of days after lifting the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League title.
In a squad that already boasts players like Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham and more, adding Kylian Mbappe will cause mayhem for the rest of the competition facing Real Madrid. With such a frightening list of attackers in the lineup, Los Blancos are likely to demolish every defence into pieces during the next season.
As the transfer saga around Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid finally comes to an end, here is a look at how the outfit is likely to field its starting XI after acquiring the services of one of the best footballers in the world.
Formation: 4-3-3
GK: Thibaut Courtois
Thibaut Courtois is the first-choice goalkeeper at Real Madrid. He missed a huge chunk of the 2023-24 season due to a horrible ankle injury. However, he kept a clean sheet in the final of the UEFA Champions League and is back to doing what he does best, keep the ball out of the net.
RB: Dani Carvajal
Dani Carvajal’s longevity is mindblowing. The full-back is still lighting fast and can outpace most wingers out there. He is defensively astute and a key figure in the squad. He is expected to retain his place in the starting lineup.
CB: Antonio Rudiger
Antonio Rudiger was key in guiding Real Madrid to the UEFA Champions League title in the 2023-24 season. He played 1039 minutes of football in the tournament (second highest at the club) and made a strong case for a regular place in the starting lineup over David Alaba or Nacho.
CB: Eder Militao
Eder Militao was unlucky with injuries during the 2023-24 season. However, he regained fitness late in the season and also featured briefly for Los Blancos in the final of the UCL. When he is fully fit, the defender is one of the first names on the sheet.

LB: Ferland Mendy
It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid manages to sign Alphonso Davies as it tries to bring in competition for places in the left-back role. Whether Davies joins the outfit or not, Ferland Mendy can hold his head up high after decent performances for the Spanish giants and retain his place in the lineup.
CM: Federico Valverde
Federico Valverde is one the most outstanding midfielders in Europe and a mainstay in the Los Blancos’s lineup. A workhorse, the midfielder performs multiple roles for the side, providing cover in defence and joining the attack with late runs into the box.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni
With Toni Kroos retiring from football after the 2023-24 season, a place in the starting lineup has become vacant. There will be intense competition for a starting position in midfield which is a good headache to have. Looking at the options, Aurelien Tchouameni has a strong case considering the plethora of qualities he brings to the table.
CAM: Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham is undroppable after the sensational debut season he had in Madrid. The English international scored 23 goals and provided 13 assists for the club across all competitions, becoming an instant hit with the fans.
LW: Vinicius Jr
Vinicius Jr contributed heavily in helping Real Madrid win the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League and LaLiga titles. He scored 24 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions, including a crucial second goal in the final of the UCL against Borussia Dortmund.
RW: Rodrygo
Rodrygo was immense for Real Madrid in the 2023-24 term and deserves to retain his place in the starting lineup going into the next season. He scored 17 goals and provided nine assists during the past season, including five goals and three assists in the UCL campaign.
ST: Kylian Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe leading the attacking line with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo on his either side is going to send shivers down the spine of every opposition Real Madrid faces next season. The 25-year-old scored a whopping 44 goals and provided 10 assists last term for Paris Saint-Germain and is likely to produce similar numbers in the upcoming campaign for his new employers.
