River Plate FIFA Club World Cup 2025 squad: Franco Mastantuono included

The Argentine club will battle in Group E.
Argentine Primera Division giants Club Atletico River Plate (CA River Plate) are gearing up to battle in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 edition. They will start things up in Group E, where they will face Urawa Reds first.
It will be interesting to see what set of plays River Plate will come up with to outplay the teams from all over the world. They will then face Monterrey and Inter Milan. It is not going to be an easy task for them as the competition level in this tournament is going to be higher.
Marcelo Gallardo has come up with a mix of experienced and young players who will play for River Plate in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 edition. The Argentine club came close to winning the FIFA CWC title in 2015 but finished as the runners-up, as the LaLiga giants Barcelona came out on top with a 3-0 win in the final.
CA River Plate are having a decent season at the moment. They are placed second in the Group B points table of the Argentine Primera Division. They have contested 16 league matches as of now and have won eight of them. Marcelo Gallardo-led River Plate will be looking to step up their game here.
Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and PSG, among many other top clubs, have also revealed their squads for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
