Romania announce final 26-man squad for Euro 2024; Radu Dragusin included

Răzvan Sava and Constantin Grameni were left out.
Head coach Edward Iordanescu has sorted his requirements for the Euro 2024 tournament. Initially, the Romania football team boss had announced a 28-man provisional squad.
The final 26-man roster for the Romania national football team has been submitted to UEFA. The two players that were withdrawn include Răzvan Sava and Constantin Grameni. The goalkeeper Sava was among the four men chosen for the job in between sticks in the provisional roster. Grameni is a 21-year-old midfielder who plays in the Romanian first tier for FCV Farul.
Iordanescu’s team’s biggest name is Radu Dragusin. Dragusin plays for the well-known club Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. The captain of the Romania team is Nicolae Stanciu. The attacking midfielder plays for FC Damac in the Saudi Pro League. The 31-year-old will be the main conductor of the midfield for his team in the Euro.
The midfield duo of Parma, Valentin Mihaila and Dennis Man, have also been included in the Romania squad. Man scored 11 goals while providing six assists in the Serie B for the Italian club in the 2023-24 season.
The Tricolours are placed in Group E with Belgium, Ukraine and Slovakia.
