The Lions of Teranga will have to do without their talisman Sadio Mane.

Senegal are currently leading the charts in the Group B of the 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifiers. The Lions of Teranga have secured four points in the opening two matches by opening their account with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over South Sudan followed by a goalless draw against Togo.

They now face DR Congo before facing Mauritania in these crucial qualifying matches. Aliou Cissé’s men are unbeaten in the last nine matches and will be confident to win this game.

DR Congo currently occupies the third spot in the table after collecting three points in the opening two matches. The Leopards opened their account in the qualifying campaign with a comprehensive 2-0 win over Mauritania followed by a 1-0 loss against Sudan.
