South Africa predicted lineup for FIFA World Cup 2026 ft. Ronwen Williams & Oswin Appollis

Bafana Bafana to meet Mexico in the 2026 FIFA World Cup opener.

The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup is all set to get underway in Canada, Mexico and the USA. The flagship competition will begin on June 11.

The South Africa national football team are preparing to deliver top performances on the grandest stage of them all. They are coming in after being held to a goalless draw by Nicaragua in their last friendly outing ahead of the mega competition.

The Hugo Broos-led side are on a poor run of form at the moment. They haven’t secured a win in their last four matches.

Bafana Bafana will have a face-off against one of the co-hosts, Mexico, in their first group stage outing of the FIFA World Cup 2026. It is not going to be an easy run for them. South Africa are likely to go in with a 4-2-3-1 lineup.
