Turkey vs Georgia: All-time head-to-head record

The Crescent-Stars are one of the dark horses of Euro 2024.
Turkey made it to the semifinals of the 2008 European Championship, which was their best-ever result in the competition. However, they fell short in both the Euro 2016 and Euro 2020 group stages.
However, the Crescent-Stars will be the favourites to defeat Georgia on matchday one, and they will be hoping to accumulate enough points to advance from this section to the round of 16.
The team led by Vincenzo Montella will go into the competition fresh off a 2-1 loss to Poland. In fact, they have lost three of their previous five games and have not won in any of their previous five games.
It will be interesting to watch how Georgia’s national team performs at the Euro 2024 as they prepare for their debut in the competition against Turkey.
In order to qualify for the tournament, Willy Sagnol’s team defeated Greece on penalties in the playoffs. Since then, they have only really played once, winning a friendly against Montenegro 3-1 on June 9.
It is unclear if their lack of preparation will affect them, but their group’s schedule may be to their advantage because they won’t play Portugal until matchday three, when Roberto Martinez’s team may have already secured their place in the knockout stage.
