Mexico and USA will face each other in the CONCACAF Nations League 2023-24 Final at AT&T Stadium in Texas, USA.

The United States men’s national soccer team (USMNT) are the two-time defending champions. This is the third final of the Nations League.

Mexico have reached their second Nations League final. They played the 2019-20 finals and lost 3-2 to the United States in extra-time.

The Mexicans have performed well at this tournament so far, winning the semifinal match against Panama and advancing to the final. Having lost their first leg of the quarterfinal against Honduras, they began the tournament with shaky form.

But Mexico came back in the next match to tie things up at 2-2 and won in the penalty shootout. In this tournament, Mexico have shown great defensive strength and are hard to break down. This crucial final will see them aiming to dethrone the USA. 

In their opening round of the tournament, they defeated Trinidad and Tobago to qualify for the tournament for the third time since its inception. With a 3-1 win against Trinidad and Tobago in stoppage time, USA will know they are lucky to be in the final as they were moments away from losing the tie. However, a Cory Burke own goal in stoppage time sparked a comeback and they won the tie.
