Spain vs Northern Ireland Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast | International Friendlies 2024
La Furia Roja to take on Northern Ireland in a friendly before heading out to Germany for Euro 2024.
Spain hosts Northern Ireland in their final friendly match as they prepare for the upcoming European Championships in Germany. La Furia Roja will aim to take one more step forward in the tournament after their semi-final exit on penalties to eventual champions Italy in Euro 2020. With a talented squad at his disposal, Luis de la Fuente is expected to guide the team deep into the competition.
After losing to Colombia and drawing with Brazil in their two friendlies back in March, Spain returned to winning ways in style on Thursday evening, putting five unanswered goals past Andorra. Mikel Oyarzabal netted a hat-trick during a strong performance from the hosts. They face a challenging group in the Euros, drawn against Croatia, Italy and Albania.
Northern Ireland, though, will not play at Euro 2024, having finished fifth in their qualification section. They had only managed to pick up nine points from their 10 matches during a tough qualifying campaign. The home team are likely to face a tough challenge from the Green and White Army and it will be an exciting clash to watch.
