Formula 1 Abu Dhabi GP 2023: Updated Schedule & Timings
As the 2023 Formula 1 season comes to an end, the Abu Dhabi GP takes centre stage with an updated schedule for the ultimate showdown.
With 21 races behind us, Max Verstappen has showcased his dominance, clinching his third consecutive world drivers’ title and securing victory in an impressive 18 out of 21 races in 2023.
While Red Bull has surely been the dominant car, the battle for second place has been pretty interesting, with both Ferrari and Mercedes being in the mix, separated by just four points. This battle was evident at the Las Vegas GP, where Mercedes was the only team to have denied Ferrari’s request for a change of parts without a penalty.
As the stage is set for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, anticipation builds for a riveting contest that could either give the second place to Ferrari or Mercedes.
The Yas Marina Circuit
Speaking of the track, the Yas Marina Circuit went through a transformation in 2021, which improved the overtaking opportunities by removing the chicane between turns four and five. This was evident by Max Verstappen’s last-lap manoeuvre in the 2021 season finale, which showcased the significance of these alterations.
