Charles Leclerc won the previous race

For the past 45 years, Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has been the home to the F1 Canadian GP. This will also be the last race of the F1’s 2024 European series before leaving for the summer break.

Now for the ninth round of the 2024 F1 season, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has undergone some minor changes. The tricky semi-permanent circuit has been completely resurfaced for 2024, adding a major ‘unknown variable’ into an already unpredictable race.

However, the results of the previous two races contribute more to the unpredictability of the upcoming race. We saw Charles Leclerc finally lifting the trophy in his home race, Monaco GP.

But for all the Red Bull fans out there, this race will be interesting to see whether the Bulls will be able to catch up and overtake Ferrari and McLaren to make a comeback in the game.

The upcoming weekend isn’t going to be a sprint and will be following the classic format. Additionally, all the races will be telecasted around midnight due to the time zone difference. This means this weekend race is going the best way for the night owls to enjoy their weekend nights.
