It is no secret that round 3 of the Formula 1 calendar was nothing but a session full of surprises. The Australian GP concluded by giving the fans some really unexpected results.
Carlos Sainz made a return to Albert Park and stole the P1 with style. Sainz crossed the checkered flag with a winning margin of 2.3 seconds, followed by his teammate, Charles Leclerc and the McLaren duo.
However, it was an unlucky day for Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and George Russel as they did not even get to finish their races.
For many F1 spectators out there, the race marked an end to Verstappen’s finishing streak and gave them hope to have a more dynamic season.
What is the next race on the calendar?
Getting over all the drama that took place at the Australian GP, the paddock is ready for round 4 of the F1 season. With the Japanese Grand Prix making a return to the F1 calendar this year, Sukuna is all set to host the next race after the Australian Grand Prix.
The Japanese Grand Prix has a very rich history in Formula 1. It possesses a legendary status between the drivers and the fans, proving it to be a true driver’s circuit.
The Japanese GP was introduced in the F1 calendar in 1976. However, the first race was held in 1987 in Suzuka. Since 2009, Suzuka has been the host for the Japanese GP.
Suzuka is one of the legendary circuits that features the “only” figure-eight configuration with a bridge from one part of the lap to the other. Other notable features of the fast track are the ‘S’ Curves, the 130R turn, the Degner Curve, and the well-known crossover.
