Lionel Messi higher rated than Cristiano Ronaldo on EA FC 24

The game is set to launch on 29 September

Supporters have started guessing about the ratings of two of EA Sports FC 24’s top stars as its release date of September 29 approaches!

The two Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have carried the player rankings for years, consistently scoring higher than 90 each year. But for the first time in more than a decade, FC 24 supporters are starting to wonder if the two GOATs deserve to be given such high ratings.

Even if Messi and Argentina will win the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, Messi’s domestic season hasn’t been as successful as previous ones.

Although the forward’s time at PSG didn’t quite go as planned, his subsequent transfer to the MLS with Inter Miami has thus far been the height of a happy ending, with the Florida team winning their first title, the Leagues Cup, in just Messi’s seventh game.

Apparently, according to the trustworthy Twitter ‘leaks’ page @Fut_scoreboard, EA has awarded Lionel Messi a 90 OVR this season.

The statistics on Messi’s basic card are also quite impressive! He received scores of 80 for pace, 87 for shooting, 90 for passing, 94 for dribbling, 33 for defending, and 64 for physical.

These are all far better than Cristiano Ronaldo’s EA FC 24 rating.
