Both games are releasing in April 2026
Gamers have experienced the big AAA titles, Resident Evil Requiem and Crimson Desert, already at the start of 2026. Now, it’s time for Capcom’s Pragmata and PlayStation studio Housemarque Saros to debut in the next month.
Both of these titles are the big AAA releases for which fans are pretty excited. Let’s check out more details in this article.
Capcom’s Pragmata launching on April 17, 2026
After a huge success and delivering a GOTY contender (Resident Evil Requiem) at the start of the year, Capcom is now ready to deliver yet another banger in the next month.
This game was supposed to release on April 24, 2026, but later they changed the date a week earlier. Now, this game will launch on April 17, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Although Resident Evil 9 was released on Switch 2, for now, Capcom has not revealed whether this game will arrive on Switch 2 or not.
In this game, players will take the role of Hugh Williams, who is a member of a team that was sent out to investigate a lunar facility that lost contact.
After a lunar quake, Hugh is separated from his team and saved by an artificial girl, Diana, who becomes his partner.
His partner is called Diana, whom he introduces in the trailer of the First Contact as D-I-03367. Hugh is a kind-hearted individual who is not quite sarcastic and Diana is curious and mysterious.
From all the trailers and gameplay that Capcom has revealed, this game is looking pretty amazing as a sci-fi adventure and pretty narrative-driven.
Also, the gameplay is very unique, where hacking abilities will be involved with a two-in-one approach. The teamwork of Hugh and Diana will play an important part in the gameplay combat.
April ends with PlayStation exclusive Saros
Sony’s PlayStation’s next exclusive after Ghost of Yotei, Saros, will be released on April 30, 2026. This game is made by Housemarque, who are pretty famous for their known title, Returnal.
If you have watched the gameplay trailer, you can pretty much feel and see the similarities between both games, especially when it comes to combat.
This game will be playable only on PS5 and PS5 Pro. This game follows a haunting story of a lost off-world colony on Carcosa under an ominous eclipse.
Players will play as Arjun Devraj, a powerful Soltari Enforcer, who is searching for something (or someone). However, the problem is that Arjun is stuck in some sort of time loop as he works to complete his mission.
Fans can expect this game to be better than Returnal in combat, story, gameplay and environments.
There is no doubt that next month, with the release of Saros and Pragmata, it is going to be amazing for gamers all around the world.
