Naoe is undoubtedly the best assassin in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, who also has three legendary assassin outfits: the sleek black Initiate Assassin Set, the iconic white Apprentice Assassin Set, and the striking red Master Assassin Set.

Each set not only makes her look more awesome but also provides some amazing stats and stealth gameplay. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Initiate Assassin Set: Sleek Black Gear

This set will provide Naoe with a dark assassin look, which is perfect for blending and assassination. This set is divided into two pieces, each located in a distinct area. Begin with the Initiate Assassin Gear (Hibiki’s Gear) in the Yamashiro region in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

After unlocking the Yamazaki fast travel point, proceed northwest to the Eagle Nest location, where a question mark indicates the Path of Bravery. Follow the yellow paint markers and fabric strips through this parkour course, but keep an eye out for a hard slide—missing it will require a restart.

At the conclusion, you’ll find a chest containing Hibiki’s gear. Stats are randomized, so save before opening. Reload until you achieve a roll of +600% affliction against vulnerable foes, which is great for poison builds.

Next, obtain the Initiate Assassin Hood (Tamakichi Hood) from the Izumi Settsu region. Head to Senry Hills, between Amagasaki and Katano, and look for the Koyama Ruins quick travel point at Tonyyama Post Town.

The Path of Valor, located west of the ruins, is another parkour path. Use your grappling hook to follow the wall-hugging path to the chest at the end, which contains the Tamakichi Hood and unlocks the cosmetic for use on any gear in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Apprentice Assassin Set: Iconic White Outfit

Most of the fans’ favorite set, the classic white Apprentice Assassin Set. Players can unlock this very early in the game in the Izumi Settsu region at the Old Kofun (Tomb of the Ancients), east of Sakai.

To continue to the Secrets of the Blade quest, which is part of The Assassins arc, you must first complete Naoe’s questline in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

You’ll get the Apprentice Assassin Gear and Hood, both epic-tier items with bonuses like +1% health restored each hit and an extra health segment removed on assassinations. Save before looting to gain stronger stats, such as +50% damage from abilities.

Master Assassin Set: Red Variant

Now, this is a very late game set and will only be available once you have completed the main storyline by defeating all Shin Bakufu leaders. After that, players will unlock the Out of the Shadows quest.

Return to your hideout in Izumi Settsu, chat with Tomiko, and after a brief cutscene, you will receive the Master Assassin Gear and Hood in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Black Set: Path of Shadows

After obtaining the Apprentice set, continue Naoe’s quest to open the Path of Shadows in Izumi Settsu. Follow the river downstream to find environmental clues and a chest containing Yoshian Gear, which can grant bonuses such as +60% quicker damage on your next strike. Another parkour trail, the trail of the Chosen, runs along the shore and leads to Yoshin Hood.
