Not a big content update
Ubisoft has revealed some exciting news for the fans as Tom Clany’s The Division 2 is getting a new DLC pretty soon.
More detailed announcements and information will be revealed on April 23, 2025, by Ubisoft. DLC is expected to release toward the end of May 2025, according to Insider Gaming Weekly.
Battle for Brooklyn DLC
With the new DLC, the game will bring players back to New York. This was originally slated for a 2024 launch as part of Division 2’s Year 6.
However, the DLC faced many setbacks and was delayed. Now that Year 7 begins in June, the DLC is scheduled to be released between May 27 and June 3, 2025.
This is according to Ubisoft’s standard marketing strategy of disclosing big content four to five weeks before release.
In the Insider Gaming weekly podcast, Henderson also revealed that it’s not a big DLC content. Smaller than the 2020 Warlords of New York expansion.
The rumored price can be $15, although nothing has been confirmed yet by Ubisoft.
Fans would be able to get more information on April 23, 2025, on the upcoming Ubisoft livestream about the Battle for Brooklyn DLC.
The expansion transports players to Brooklyn, a region briefly seen in The Division 1’s tutorial.
This transforms it into a huge urban battlefield complete with monuments such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Prospect Park.

What’s next?
The Division 2 is already getting support from Ubisoft and is still getting updates for the new content, which fans can enjoy.
The Division 3 is already in development, however, no release window has been shared yet. The production began in 2023.
Fans are hoping that it can be released towards the end of 2027 or early 2028.
Star Wars Outlaws free demo now available
Another Ubisoft news, a 3-hour free demo is now available for the Star Wars Outlaws on PC (Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The roughly 30GB trial allows players to explore Tatooine but does not transfer over their progress to the full game.
The game was released in 2024 and will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in the future. There are currently no discounts available for complete purchases.
